Nancy Molina
Annual Fund Co-Chair
Hi, I'm Nancy! I'm a mom to two Jackson Dolphins- one in 1st grade and one in 3rd grade- and I'm one of the Annual Fund Co-Chairs. One of the main reasons I chose Jackson was the incredible sense of community I felt the first time I walked through its doors. I wanted to give back so every family can experience that same welcoming feeling. Coming together as a community to support our students is what inspires my work with the Annual Fund.When I'm not at Jackson, you'll usually find me at a baseball or softball field cheering on my kids! Our family also loves spending time outdoors, especially camping, and if I get a little downtime, I enjoy binge-watching a good TV show. By day, I work for Pasadena Unified School District helping connect families with services, resources, and support. If you see me around campus, please come say hello! Jessie Ourique
Annual Fund Co-Chair & Fiesta Chair
Hi, I'm Jessie! I'm the mom of two Jackson kids: one in 3rd grade and one in Kinder, and I serve as Annual Fund Co-Chair and Fiesta Chair. I love using my creativity in service of my community, and there's something deeply meaningful to me about helping kids in a real, tangible way, in this case, by helping make sure Jackson has what it needs to thrive. I care a lot about building genuine connections between school families and creating a community rooted in inclusivity, one small (or big!) act at a time. Outside of Annual Fund, I'm a Program Manager in tech, and you'll usually find me at game night with friends, baking bread, hiking, or hanging out with my family. If you ever see me around, please say hi; I’m always happy to connect, answer questions, or talk through ways to get involved!
It takes a village!
Every event, every fundraiser, every small win this year happens because of our volunteers. The volunteers making smoothies at Move-a-thon. The volunteer DJing the dance party like it's their job. The volunteers adding auction items to the site late into the night, and the ones gluing centerpieces and balloon arches together at 10pm the night before Fiesta. The parents organizing and packaging up their beautiful class baskets for Fiesta. The families donating experiences and items to our auction. The volunteers who show up to the meetings and brainstorms, month after month. The volunteers who arrive first to set up, and stay last to break everything back down. And our teachers — for everything they do to support these events on top of everything else they already give our kids all year long.
You know who you are, and we see you!
To every volunteer, family, and teacher who has ever said yes to helping Jackson — thank you. This is as much your community as it is ours.
