🎉 Fiesta 2026: Jackson’s Biggest Night of the Year
Fiesta is our largest fundraiser and celebration of the year. On Friday, April 24, 2026, families, staff, and our community will come together for an unforgettable evening of food, fun, and fundraising.
The night is packed with energy and purpose: bidding in the silent auction, live auction, and our famous class baskets, plus taking part in the always-popular raffle. Your ticket includes dinner, an open bar, and a dance floor full of friends, staff, and our Jackson community.
Fiesta is our last chance this school year to raise the money needed to keep vital programs and staff in place. Without these funds, we can’t guarantee the return of essentials like the Garden & cooking program, our Library coordinator, Intervention teachers, Campus safety aides, After School Clubs , and more.

Fiesta doesn’t happen without our incredible volunteers. We’re currently filling committee chair and volunteer roles. There’s a place for everyone—whether you love planning, organizing, hosting, or just showing up to help on the big night.

🎨 Decorating Committee – Set the scene! Plan and design décor, flowers, and festive touches that make Fiesta shine.

🧺 Class Baskets Committee – Coordinate all communication, organization, and management of class baskets in collaboration with room parents for the auction.

🍹Food & Beverage Committee – From cocktails to dessert, this team makes sure no one leaves hungry (or thirsty!). Coordinate with caterers for appetizers, dinner, and dessert; secure bartenders; plan both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options; and ensure all the essentials (plates, cups, utensils, etc.) are covered.

🎤 Entertainment Committee – Keep the energy high! Oversee all entertainment for the evening, from securing a DJ and emcee to planning theme-related activities that engage guests and keep the party going.

🛠️ Set Up Committee – Help transform the Pasadena Senior Center into a vibrant Fiesta space before the event.

🎟️ Live Auction Committee – Track bids and winners in real time, making sure all live auction sales are accurately captured.

🤝 Procurement Committee – Lead our outreach! Connect with families, local businesses, and community partners to secure items, experiences, and sponsorships for the live and silent auctions that power Fiesta’s fundraising.

🍎 Teacher Experience Committee – Coordinate the one-of-a-kind teacher-hosted experiences that students and families love to bid on.

👋 Guest Services Committee – Be the welcoming team on the night of Fiesta. Greet guests, handle check-in, assist with raffles, and make sure every attendee feels part of the celebration.

🧹 Cleanup Committee – Help us leave the venue spotless once the celebration ends.

💡 About the Annual Fund
The Annual Fund is our school’s foundation of support. It’s a parent-led nonprofit that raises the big dollars needed for essential staff and programs not covered by PUSD’s budget—like safety aides, an academic interventionist, garden & cooking classes, field trips, and our library coordinator.
Because the district budget changes year to year, we fundraise in advance so we can protect and sustain the programs and positions that make Jackson such a unique and thriving community. While there are some things outside our control, the Annual Fund ensures that what we can support stays strong for our kids.
